if you were at the danny brown/childish gambino concert last night and you were part of the crowd chanting “gambino” during danny brown, shame on you. don’t get me wrong, i love me some CG, but i have never felt more ashamed of dallas (well, i probably have. i just can’t think of anything else right now). y’all were rude as fuck.
“Dallas” (2012) - I’m kind of stoked about this. It’s probably because I live/am from the big D. Maybe I’ll have a chance at meeting Jesse Metcalfe. I fucking love you, Dallas, Texas.
It is State Fair of Texas season now. So it is time to spend a ridiculous amount of money to get your arteries clogged! This right here is the Fried Autumn Pumpkin Pie. It doesn’t look like much, but it is pumpkin pie (almost chocolatey) goodness. So if you live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, or feel like driving a few hours, make your way to the State Fair.
PS. If you go after 5:00 PM and bring an empty Dr. Pepper can, your ticket admission will be $5. There’s also fried bubblegum.

rant: northpark centerhere is a general rundown & unsaid rules about northpark (from a merchandising major that has been frequenting this shopping center for half of her life. yes, even before the massive renovation):
it’s been real, dallas.although i have had mixed emotions about my break here, i will always, irrevocably love you, dallas. i wish i could wake up at noon, sit in my room and watch movies all day and tumble, i must get educated in dreary denton. ahh, the woes of being an adult.
but denton, please treat me well this semester… even if i just called you ‘dreary.’ i promise i’ll be nicer if you reciprocate the lovins’. this is definitely a two-way street, even though there are several one-way streets in denton. i also ask that i meet new people with common interests such as being an adult, passing classes, and not getting high and drunk every night. basically, no deadbeats. although, i wouldn’t mind a bit o’ drama to keep my life remotely interesting.

Fuck the Yankees. —Adam Levine, tonight at their concert in Dallas, TX rant/ode: i freakin’ love you, dallasbeing from dallas, i grew up absolutely loving the fair. where else can one get disgustingly, unhealthy foods for expensive prices? my roommate (who is from ft. worth, remember this.) had never gone to the fair so i thought it would be a perfect year for me to show her around. my roommate had planned for us to go today, october 9th 2010. today is a saturday which also happens to be the Baylor/Tech game. so naturally, half of texas was at the fair.
